Meet Our Skin Therapist, Charlene

Charlene has been working in the beauty industry for a decade and absolutely loves it.

A couple of years ago she discovered that her true passion was in facial skincare treatment. She decided to focus her energy on expanding her knowledge and experience, specialising in what she truly loves to do – helping her patients on their skincare journey and giving them glowing results! The role brings her great satisfaction, and she feels her job is extremely rewarding.

Charlene really enjoys making people feel positive, encouraging them to believe in themselves and their ability to succeed in life.

She is offering a wide range of skin treatments to have you feeling hydrated, fresh and rejuvenated.

Skincare Treatments

Our treatments range from 30 minutes to just over an hour. So, whether you’re after a quick lunchtime treat or an after-work relaxation, we have options for both. With prices ranging from £30 – £250, there is certainly something available for all budgets.

• Express & Deluxe Dermaplaning (30 & 60 minutes)
  Dermaplaning is an exfoliation treatment that removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz from the top layer of the skin, using a blade. The treatment helps to smooth out the skin and restore a younger, radiant complexion.
• Express & Deluxe Microdermabrasion (30 & 60 minutes)
  Microdermabrasion is a non-chemical, non-invasive procedure that removes the outermost layer of dry, dead skin cells using a diamond embodied into a stainless-steel tip and vacuum. This treatment helps your skin to appear healthier and younger.
• Mini Facial (30 minutes)
  A quick cleanse, tone, mask and moisturise using SPF
  Mini Facial Add Ons – ice globes (cooling wands used to soothe redness, reduce puffiness, and cool the skin) scalp and neck massage, hand, and foot treatment – ask in the clinic for more details.
• Deluxe Facials (60 minutes):
  – Deep Moisturising Treatment
  This facial is an intensely hydrating and nourishing option that results in plump, soft skin and a dewy complexion.
  – Enzyme Treatment
  This facial is highly effective resurfacing solution. It exfoliates the dead skin cells and promotes skin renewal as well improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.
  – Clay Treatment
  This facial purifies and refines the skin by extraction and exfoliation. It reduces the appearance of blemishes and excess oils while soothing and hydrating the skin.
  – Aqua Infusion Treatment
  This facial includes an oil free, lightweight mask that provides anti-aging moisture to all skin layers. It helps to retain moisture for a smooth, plump and refreshing glow.
• Chemical Peels (60 minutes):
  A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure that removes the top layers of your skin using a chemical solution. The treatment leaves the skin feeling smoother and looking younger with the appearance of fresh new skin.
  – Radiant 30
  This chemical peel is for hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tones, dull skin, fine lines and wrinkles. It is an alpha hydroxy acid resurfacing feel that improves skin texture and tone.
  – Radiant 20/10
  This chemical peel is for acne, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tones, congestion, open pores and oiliness. This combination improves skin tone and texture by exfoliating dead skin cells, reducing acne pimples and minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, large pores and sun damage.
  – Glow Peel (most intense)
  This chemical peel is for dry, normal, oily, dehydrated, acne, hyperpigmentation & ageing. This treatment helps to minimise the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, discolouration, and uneven skin tones. It also exfoliates dead skin cells and stimulates cell renewal.
• WOW Fusion (coming soon)
  WOW Fusion is a form of Microneedling that helps to regenerate collagen production in the skin, producing smoother skin that makes you look refreshed and rejuvenated. The treatment combines collagen regeneration and improves your skin texture and tone.
• Gold Facial (coming soon)
  The Glow Up 24k Gold Facial combines the smoothing effect of dermaplaning, combined with the complexion brightening of skin peels. The treatment removes all the dead skin cells and peach fuzz from the top layer of skin, followed by a brightening skin peel to refresh the complexion.

AlumierMD is the medical grade skincare brand we use inhouse at Aesthetics Life. Using their products for both our treatments and for you to buy off the shelf for your at-home skin routine. We are your one stop ‘shop’ for all your skincare needs. AlumierMD products are not readily available on the high street, as you need to be a medical professional to offer this range. So, think of us as your fairy godmother of skincare!

Using both the home care products and Charlene using the professional treatments, they both work synergistically to improve the health and beauty of skin. The home care products prepare your skin for professional treatment and then maintain the results post treatment.

Whilst the professional treatments enhance the results of your home care products. Combining your customised home care routine with potent professional treatments, the result is radiant skim with improvements in tone, texture and the visible signs of ageing.
