The Chinese New Year marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle, and is represented by one of the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac.

Year of the Water Tiger – Confidence abounds

2022 is the year of the water tiger, also known as the “King of all Beasts”. The water tiger hasn’t been seen in the zodiac since 1962, meaning this is going to be an incredibly big year. In the Chinese Zodiac Calendar, the year of the water tiger symbolises bravery, confidence and strength. The water tiger brings luck to those born in 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010 and 2022. It’s said that the year of the tiger may be unlucky to some, but that’s only if you allow the bad luck to take front stage. So don’t allow this big year to swallow your self esteem! Make 2022 the year you boost your confidence.

How Can I Boost My Self Esteem?

If you aren’t born under the Chinese Zodiac animal of the tiger, you may need that little extra help this year when it comes to embracing your confidence. Embrace your inner water tiger’s confidence and treat yourself to some self-love this year. Traditionally, it’s believed that if you feel good on the inside, your confidence will show on the outside. However, that isn’t the case for all of us. Some of us need that little external confidence boost to feel good on the inside.

We have a huge variety of treatments for you to choose from to help you feel your best this year. From injectable treatments such as lip filler or anti-wrinkle treatments, to your relaxing skin treatments using AlumierMD medical grade skin products. We certainly have something for everyone. Don’t let this new lunar cycle bring you down, rise above it, boost your confidence…and we’re here to help!

Top Tip to Boost Your Self Esteem

In the meantime, why not get yourself a self-love journal? Write down everything you love about YOU. Or make yourself a promise to treat yourself to something once a month; whether that’s a Starbucks on your way to work one morning, that new coat you’ve been eyeing up in Selfridges or even a treatment with us (wink wink).

Ooze confidence this Chinese New Year. We can’t wait to see you shine.
