How can Jawline Fillers enhance my appearance?

Jawline fillers can be used to enhance and even out the facial structure, providing a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.

During a jaw enhancement treatment, the application of dermal fillers is used to fill out the area effectively sculpting and reshaping the jaw. In some people the concern is not just that the jawline appears weak, but may also be unbalanced. We can use dermal filler injections to enhance and even out the facial structure bringing a more aesthetically pleasing appearance with overall satisfaction rates being very high. In the instance where jowls are of concern, dermal fillers are appropriate to help restore collagen (a protein in the skin that is responsible for youthful volume) and elastin (which maintains the skin’s ability to bounce back) resulting in the jawline area appearing both tighter and lifted.

During the initial consultation we will discuss the options and create a bespoke treatment plan, going over the benefits and possible side effects. We’ll take a few ‘before’ photos for you to compare the jawline filler before and after results once the treatment has finished.

During your Jawline Filler treatment

During the treatment itself we will apply a local anaesthetic lidocaine for a more comfortable treatment before we proceed to inject the jawline fillers. For the jawline, we use Restylane, a non-permanent filler containing Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and additional vitamins and amino acids to restore lost volume and to rejuvenate the skin. HA is a natural component and something that our body makes daily. It is found throughout our body; in our skin, bones, joints and eyes. It acts as a lubricant and moisturiser due to its ability to attract and store water. Unfortunately, as we age, we are not able to produce as much HA as we did in our youth.

After your Jawline Filler treatment

After the treatment, the positive effects of the treatment should be visible immediately, especially when compared to the ‘before’ photos. The effects of this treatment will last between 6 and 9 months. Most people can return to their normal daily life immediately after the treatment. Try to avoid touching your mouth and keep the area clean. Also, try to sleep on your back facing up. You might experience slight side effect inconveniences in the treated area, such as swelling, mild bruising, itching or redness. These side effects typically only last between 1 and 3 days.
