What is Profhilo®?

Profilho® is a hyaluronic acid injectable treatment. Profhilo® has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid in the market.

Prohilo® works to hydrate the skin, providing optimum skin quality, while also lifting and rejuvenating the treated area – reducing skin laxity.  This is known as bioremodelling.

Hyaluronic acid is a substance our bodies produce naturally. As we age, our bodies produce less of this and so skin boosters such as Profhilo® can have a noticeable rejuvenating effect.

How does Profhilo® work?

Profhilo® injects synthetic hyaluronic acid, which is released slowly over the course of 1 month, boosting collagen production during this time. The results are therefore very long lasting.

Profhilo® is a thicker solution than others on the market. Therefore Profhilo® treatment can provide a lifting and rejuvenating effect to treated areas.

What does Profhilo® Treatment involve?

A slimline syringe is prepped with the Profhilo® solution. This is then administered in several injections across the face. As Profilo® hydrates the skin, it doesn’t trigger an initial inflammatory response and so maximises patient comfort – both during and after treatment.

Profhilo® treatment is a non-invasive injectable treatment. Aesthetics Life’s medically qualified clinicians have developed optimum injection techniques to minimise pain and downtime. Profhilo® is a great lunch-time procedure.

Profhilo® aftercare

After your treatment your clinician will provide full aftercare.

You can return to usual daily tasks.

Most people can return to their normal daily life immediately after the treatment. Try to avoid touching and keep the area clean. Also, try to sleep on your back facing up. You might experience slight side effect inconveniences in the treated area, such as swelling, mild bruising, itching or redness. These side effects typically only last between 1 and 3 days.

The results will be visible within 2 weeks of the second treatment

How often should I have Profhilo®?

Many patients often see a noticeable difference after just 2 treatments – spaced 1 month apart. Your Aesthetics Life clinician will recommend a treatment plan based on you as an individual. Some patients will require another treatment depending on the results wanted and skin laxity or signs of ageing.

After the initial treatment cycle, we recommend treatments every 4-6 months to maintain optimum results.
