What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure in which the top dead skin cells are gently removed with a surgical scalpel to show a fresh, more youthful complexion. It is also great if you have unwanted facial hair as it removes ‘peach fuzz’ (vellus hair) and softens the skin.
How does Dermaplaning work?
Dermaplaning is a skin exfoliation treatment, in which a surgical blade is used to remove the top layer of dead skin from the epidermis. This is done using light ‘feathering’ strokes. Removing this top layer of dead skin promotes the skin to regenerate and replace old skin cells with new ones, giving a fresh renewed complexion.
