We get horizontal forehead lines & wrinkles primarily from our forehead muscles contracting when we raise our eyebrows. This movement is often created by contraction of the frontalis muscle and in some people can create a tired or stressed appearance. The lines in your forehead can also be worsened by, for example, sunlight or smoking.

Forehead lines & wrinkles can be easily treated using precise administration of Botox®* into the muscles above and between the eyebrows. These anti-wrinkle injections can be used to prevent lines from developing/deepening, or to soften existing lines. During the initial consultation we will discuss the options and create a bespoke treatment plan, going over the benefits and possible side effects. We’ll take a few ‘before’ photos for you to compare the before and after results once the treatment has finished.
During the Forehead Botox® Anti-Wrinkle Treatment.
*For the forehead, we often use Botox®, a botulinum toxin that was designed specifically for aesthetic purposes that is MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved. Botox® is injected into the muscles above and between the eyebrows to cause a temporary muscle relaxation that improves the appearance of glabella lines, which can appear smoother or even disappear altogether.
After the Forehead Botox® Anti-Wrinkle Treatment.
After the treatment, the effects of the treatment are not visible immediately – within 2 weeks. The effects of this treatment will last typically between 4 and 6 months. Most people can return to their normal daily life immediately after the treatment. Try to avoid touching and keep the area clean. Also, try to sleep on your back facing up. You might experience slight side effect inconveniences in the treated area, such as swelling or mild bruising. These side effects typically only last between 1 and 3 days.
