What causes Thin Skin?
Ageing is a term used to describe thinner, more fragile Skin that wrinkles easily. This happens due to the aging process, as our elastin and collagen starts to breakdown and is not replenished by our bodies in the same way as when we are younger. The most common areas for Thin Skin are the décolletage, neck, backs of the hands, arms, legs and around the eyes. Although ageing is the main culprit, regular sun exposure without using sun cream is also an accelerating factor for crepiness.
